Today, September, 12, 2012, Peoplestring support sent members the following email:
"Dear Members, Notice: Effective September 20th, 2012, PeopleString will be the ending the email portion of our services. Unfortunately you will no longer be able to receive emails, send emails, or access any of your old emails after this date. All accounts have been granted POP3 & IMAP access allowing you to back up any email using an email client such as Microsoft Outlook. Instructions for the POP3 settings can be found in PeopleString's FAQS under the email section or by using the link http://peoplestring.com/faq/answers.php?id=7." In my opinion, it's one of the strongest features that made Peoplestring worth hanging onto. Now, it will be gone. This is a worrisome sign as it signals the restructuring predicted following the release of their 10-Q report with the SEC on Aug 14, 2012. This, coupled with the following (and in no particular order) are the current problematic issues affecting Peoplestring: 1) increasing dissatisfaction among members (reflected on the PeopleString Facebook fan page). 2) exodus of even paid members from the PeopleString program (4 of my own 5 up line entrepreneurs are listed as "invalid users"). 3) failure of PeopleString to maintain integrity within the program demonstrated by failure to share and distribute advertising revenue to its members for the past several months and not honor promises made within their recently implemented peoplestring traffic programs). 4) extended disruption of insta-portal technology. 5) extended disruption of transaction records. 6) lack of responsive internal PeopleString support, These are all important issues and none currently being addressed by PeopleString staff. With the termination and interruption of featured services - there is now even less incentive to remain active with PeopleString unless these issues are quickly attended to. If history is any indication then it's not a hopeful prospect. The future does not appear bright for Peoplestring. In similar fashion to their withdrawal of services: Dear Peoplestring Support, Effective September 20, 2012, I will be ending my affiliation with the Peoplestring service and community. Unfortunately you will no longer be able to count on me to generate you revenue by sending/receiving emails, clicking ads, visiting websites, playing games, and using apps. All access to my personal information, emails, and privileges previously granted no longer apply on or after the above date.

PeoplePoints are used to determine the amount of your shared advertising revenue. The accumulated value of your PeoplePoints varies monthly based on a variety of factors. This includes your total number of log ins, log outs, web searches, game play, and chat, etc.. Basically the amount you've used the PeopleString portal determines the amount of PeoplePoints received. The greater number of PeoplePoints you have, the larger your share in the advertising revenue split.
PeopleString claims the ad share payments are distributed when they're received from the advertisers and not specific to any one month. Unfortunately this rather vague statement allows them flexibility and shielding from making any specific time interval as to when these share payments are made. Your PeopleString ad share payments are reflected as ‘Search & Ad’ payments and ‘Refer Search & Ad’ payments in your Transaction Details of your back office and contribute to total account earnings. Based on summary of my own PeopleString transaction account activity I've noticed a significant lapse since my PeoplePoints have made any contribution to my overall earnings. In other words, the last time any PeoplePoints were converted into cash on my account is January 9, 2012. There has been increased chatter among other members with similar findings and concerns. I've not seen any indication of payment policy changes or communication reflected by the PeopleString staff. In addition, Peoplepoint indicators and ad share payment schemes described in the FAQ's of the official PeopleString site offer no changes. So, what's happened to the PeoplePoint ad share payment contributions? Good question. It's unlikely that PeopleString has not been paid by their advertisers and therefore distribution would be anticipated as they are received from said advertisers. 8 months is a significant gap. Frankly, I'm surprised there has been no official correspondence from PeopleString addressing this increasing concern. PeoplePoint totals have continued to be maintained however and I would anticipate that PeoplePoints ad share will soon be tabulated and distributed proportionate to the cumulative totals and ad share ratios. I will continue to monitor and update any changes to concern here. PeopleString Corp (PLPE), recently announced a marketing agreement with Bilo Media and launched the MyIngo Discount Gas Club on PeopleString. PeopleString members, for a onetime enrollment fee of $29.99, can purchase Pre-paid discount gas cards available for Texaco, Exxon, Mobile, Sunoco and Chevron at a 3% discount off face value. It is estimated that consumers can anticipate savings of 10 to 15 cents per gallon, based on recent national averages for a gallon of gasoline. The prepaid cards can also be used for food, merchandise and services at nearly 23,000 retail outlets.
PeopleString members will be happy to learn that they are automatically enrolled in the MyIngo affiliate program and can receive an $8 referral fee for any new member they refer to the discount gas club. A MyIngo Discount gas club affiliate page is available to each PeopleString member. In these crushing economic times it's reasonable to ask - will the prepaid peoplestring discount gas club card save me money? Let's keep it simple. Since there is a $29.99 onetime enrollment fee, just how long will it take to recoup that initial investment. Some quick math: assume .12 per gallon savings and a 25 gallon fuel tank. That's an average savings of $3.00 per fill up. Based on these averages, your myingo discount club card will have paid for itself in just 10 fuel tank fillings. Unlike many of gas discount cards, there are no points or rewards to earn, no minimum purchases or quotas. You'll have to decide for yourself if that's worth it to you. You can calculate your anticipated savings at the myingo calculator. More details of the myingo discount gas program can be found at PeopleString or myingo. Is Bigstring self destructing the free email accounts?
Bigstring Corp. in 2006 developed Bigstring to provide Bigstring email allowing the user control, security and privacy over their transmitted email. BigString has provided free email accounts messaging service that allowing users to send, recall, erase, self-destruct and secure email correspondence. In March 2009, Bigstring launched PeopleString Corp. and has maintained holdings of about 30% of their stock. Similar features of bigstring email technology has been incorporated into PeopleString free email accounts. BigString Then Initially Bigstring email permitted users to send recallable, erasable and self-destructing emails, photos, and video. BigStrings patent-pending technology rendered emails, pictures and video non-printable or non-savable - all which could be accomplished before or after the recipient read the correspondence and regardless of what Internet service provider was being used. The emails could even be edited after having been read by the recipient! BigString Now I've been a heavy user of the free email account Bigstring provides from almost their beginning and had been quite satisfied with the offerings. However, recently I've noticed significant changes in the functionality as well as a decline in the reliability of Bigstrings free email accounts. Sign ups for new users appears to be closed as the option to register is conspicuously missing from the homepage. Previously I could always rely on my Bigstring email to actually expire, self destruct or reflect any changes made at the recipients end. That is no longer true. While my recallable email (self-destructing email) is sent and arrives as it should - they now never show changes I've made to the recipient. I've also experienced several emails remaining available and readable to the recipient following expiration at my end. That's not how it's supposed to work! Other recent changes of the Bigstring free email accounts including the absence of video email. With sign ups to the world's coolest email apparently closed there aren't many Bigstring alternatives (free email accounts with email tracking and self destructive features) available. Fortunately however - this technology is merged (for the most part) with Peoplestring free email accounts. The following are currently available features of the PeopleString free email accounts with 2GB of storage. PeopleString free email accounts
With the recallable email option selected the sender can either place a time limit or a view limit on the transmitted email. The recallable email will then self-destruct after that view or time limit is reached. So far I've not had an email sent from my peoplestring free email account fail to self destruct or expire as it should. While the PeoplesString site claims that emails are able to be edited after being sent I've never seen even an option that would allow me to do so as I could with BigString email in days long past. The email tracking works exceptionally well in documenting the number of views and IP address of the recipient. So, whether you're looking for a BigString alternative, free email accounts, or email tracking with self destructing features - a PeopleString email account may be just what you're looking for! PeopleString Social Network 10-QPeopleString Social Network QR Code Quarterly Report PeopleString Corp. released their 10-Q quarterly report on May 21, 2012 and the managements discussion and analysis regarding the social networking operations are revealing. About PeopleString The incentive based social network allows users to aggregate their combined business, personal, and social communications into a user-friendly online portal. In addition to the functional benefit users then earn incentives through their online and offline activities of their own personal social network. Since January 2011 the insta-portal has provided means for users to incorporate their favorite sites onto their PeopleString homepage. This was intended to keep users interfacing with the PeopleString social networking service. Increased traffic and page views through the service of course means increased advertising and affiliate revenue to be shared among the PeopleString members. Additional marketing platforms were introduced throughout 2011 and included PeopleDeals and Marketplace The PeopleDeals platform allows businesses to easily use social networking tools effective between businesses and customers in hopes of increasing their brands awareness, loyalty, and ultimately sales. The marketing agreement with Cameo Stars provides consulting and marketing services to the PeopleStrings ShareitUp platform. What is critical for the PeopleString social network to succeed is an ever growing user base. This is necessary not only to increase the incentive based social networking revenue but also to attract even more advertisers and market affiliations. This would be expected to increase advertising revenues. What I've seen in my own down-line is no doubt similar to the overall PeopleString social networking dilemma. It's always nice to greet a new member who joins as as first time user but to succeed that user needs to be retained - become a repeat user of the social network. And, ideally, that user would provide referrals for even more new members. Unfortunately that is not typical. New signups are not difficult however service retention is problematic. This may be what is, in part, responsible for the dismal net losses experienced by the PeopleString Corp. and documented in their quarterly report earnings accounting operations. PeopleString management has indicated that funding is presently insufficient and documented in the quarterly report at $193,365 (as of March 13, 2012). to maintain a minimum level of operations for the next 12 months. While they do intend to continue services and operations of PeopleString offerings it's likely that the expenses of sales and marketing, advertising expenses, and general operations costs will increase consequent to Peoplestring promotions. If funds remain insufficient then it's possible additional debt financing, equity funding or money borrowed from banking institutions will be sought to fund PeopleString operations. Bankruptcy protection is another consideration if Peoplestring fails to obtain adequate additional financing. PeopleString Forecast Who knows what the future holds but as a PeopleString member I am concerned. I enjoy the PeopleString services. Aside from trickling earnings for using a service I would use even if there were no financial incentive (specifically the recall email and consolidation of my business, personal, and social communications through the instaportal technology) I'll admit some hesitation in aggressive recruiting efforts. Aggressively obtaining referrals for a floundering dot com isn't exactly the most constructive use of time however at the same time - it's in everyone's best interest to do so if we are to enjoy the services and earnings doing what we already do. The present quarterly report financial condition of PeopleString Corporation does raise some red flags in that regard. The decreasing PLPE.OB stock value also appears a warning indicator. With all the recent talk of social networking in the news perhaps the fizzle of the Facebook IPO is responsible for some of the blame; it's possible that once this stabilizes then the PeopleString incentive based social network will take trend in a positive direction as well. Let's hope the next PeopleString quarterly report reveals more inspiring figures. If you found a dollar on the street would you pick it up? How about a $0.50 piece, quarter, dime, or nickel! Chances are most of you would. There is something inherently pleasing about finding money - however small, and claiming it as your own.
Have you taken coins from your pockets at the end of the day and thrown them into a water jug, piggy bank, or coffee can for a year and tallied the amount you've accumulated at the end of that year? The results are surprising aren't they? The two examples above are how you should be thinking about your Peoplestring earnings; especially those with no or small downlines. The few cents, $0.50, dollar or whatever you've earned for a particular day certainly don't sound to be that much. However, what did you actually have to do in order to make it? Basically nothing. You're doing what you already do on the internet anyway. I'm astonished at the sheer number of people who cry foul because PeopleString isn't earning them $1000/mo. As with any endeavor, the more work you put into it then the more reward you can potentially reap. Using PeopleString is no different. For the average, casual user People String is like finding coins everyday - and as long as you use it - then you are assured of earnings. For the business minded and those wanting to put in the effort to build a considerable downline and develop PeopleString as an social marketing enterprise then the components are in place for that as well. Casual or business minded alike have the same zero start up costs - and that to me is what is significant about this program. Internet marketers will try and convince you that the road to riches on the internet is a paved electronically guided superhighway and certainly, for a select few lottery winners - it is. For the rest of us - it's a constant battle of trial and error, avoiding one scam after another from sometimes the same internet gurus allegedly making the big bucks. Rest assured however that for the most part, they're making the big bucks offering you "secrets" that never earned them, or likely anyone, else a dime. Even if you've thought Google Adsense, Amazon, or Ebay stores are sure things, think again. Websites monetized to earn through the search engines are extremely volatile methods of online earnings and getting any to earn is no small task - and rarely without cost. At a minimum you have domain registration (generally $8 to $20/yr for most .com, .org and .net domains), and website hosting ($4 to $10/mo) fees - and you're still not in business. You still need a well designed site with original, unique content. Sure, you can do it yourself - if you know or willing to learn how (now think how long that is going to take). If you buy one - add that cost into the mix (earning sites generally sell for about 10- to 12 times the cost of monthly revenue). So, want to buy a site earning $500/mo? No problem, you can buy it at auction (if you're lucky) for about $6,000. Sounds good until the next Google search algorithm knocks it out of the rankings two months after it's transferred to you. Now you're stuck with a site not earning you anything. By and large, sites with significant traffic and earnings through the search engines aren't making money unless they're on the first page of those search engines. And if you think getting or keeping a site on the first page is an easy task then you're already set - start your business offering this to others because it is not easy and it is not cheap! What I'm getting at is that there are no quick, easy paths to internet wealth. PeopleString isn't offering a get rich quick method. It does however provide anyone (even casual users) with a reliable, steady way to toss coins daily into your coffee can, piggy bank, or water jug. There are no start up costs to regain - no domain, website hosting or maintenance fees. There is no credit card information required. You don't have to struggle and figure out how to get anything to work in order to pay you. Earnings are immediate and the premise is easy - use the internet portal for your daily computing activities and you will earn. You're doing these things anyway and believe me - these coins add up! Get your share today! Sign up on PeopleString and I will guide you every step of the way. The PeopleString user forum which previously was available to PeopleString members under the social tab has mysteriously disappeared. No word on the reasoning or withdrawal of the forum by PeopleString staff to my knowledge. From personal experience in cruising the forum, I know hasn't been used too actively in recent months by users and it did seem flooded with SPAM so perhaps it may be a precautionary measure to eliminate that activity.
The Peoplestring forum had been a place where new members, in particular, could get information from the seasoned stringers on how to navigate and learn about the many facets of the Peoplestring dashboard, features, and programs availabe to all members. I've never known the PeopleString staff to be very active in responding to questions/concerns but the user base appeared friendly and helpful enough that most questions were quickly addressed by other members in timely fashion. I've no idea if the PeopleString Forum is scheduled to be returned or if this represents the demise of what used to be a useful avenue of information. PeopleString Corp. has released a new television commercial to bolster their current push to increase awareness of the PeopleString instaportal technology and free opportunity for members to easy earn money online by doing what they already do on the internet and social networks. Personally I find the new commercial a vast improvement over the corny, although catchy, cha-ching themed version previously launched. The new commercial offers the viewer a great deal more practical insight into what the PeopleString services actually are. While I don't have actual numbers to support the success of the national television advertising campaign, it can be said that at least a slight increase in PeopleString interest has been generated. I determine this from the slight increase gauged from the relative searches shown by this screen capture of the Google Insights Tool of web search interest in "peoplestring"
Peoplestring has recently launched a new incentive for members under the free traffic program to encourage others to join. When you accumulate 40 active direct referrals you earn an increase to 25% on your direct and bump to 5% on level 2-6 payouts. That's up from 10% and 2%. This is HUGE! What this provides is an effective way to obtain the payout percentage increase that PeopleString entrepreneurs receive! Wow! This offers a great opportunity for any free member to boost their payout earnings in a big way!
PeopleString has recently launched a new television advertising campaign that coincided with a makeover on the website appearance. One of the greatest functional and cosmetic improvements is the redesigned PeopelString dashboard where a PeopleString member can tell at a glance how to earn those PeopleString dollars and activities that generate you earnings. Before, it was to your own device and creativity as to when performing those social networking activities would earn you credit. Now, at a glance, the information is right there! PeopleString Review gives a big thumbs up to this streamlined improvement by PeopleString.
