Your boss has been on you about quarterly reviews for weeks. Now you've had enough and will tell boss exactly feel in a crude email. You embed that embarrassing picture taken from last year's Christmas party - the one you promised destroyed. You feel good for only a short time before realizing your emotions got the better of you.
Email regret! Now you think, How do I unsend that email? How can I recall my sent email message? Most of us have experienced sending off an unintended or hasty email message that we regret sending. What can we do to get that email back without the boss reading it first? How can you recall email already sent? There are a few paid options but this one is free: PeopleString email. One of my favorite PeopleString features is the email account provided to each free member. Peoplestring email can be configured as: regular email regular email with tracking recallable email (recall email), self-destructing email or video email (EDIT: video email no longer appears an option when composing - uncertain if this is a permanent change) To recall sent email through peoplestring be sure to send the email as recallable email. To adjust your preferences so that your email is always sent as recallable email make certain you have selected the recallable email option in the email settings, preferences, and composing messages sections. Check the appropriate "recallable" checkbox and save. Now, you control your PeopleString recall email. If you send an email you later regret - select to self-destructing, before or after, it's been read! Yes, even if it has been read it can be self-destructing email and it then is no longer available to be read by the recipient. Not everyone wants these self destructing email features but it's a nice option to have available especially if you're prone to email regret. Enjoy! If you'd like a Peoplestring recall/self-destructing email account it's free to join and use.
